This technology includes the use of 3D Imaging or 'Cone Beam' imaging. This advanced technology brings a new, high standard of care and we use it for a number of reasons.The key to successful orthodontic treatment is a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. With the use of 3D Imaging we can approach orthodontic cases using a more complete perspective as 3-dimensional imagining allows our treatment to be very precise.3D Cone Beam Imaging allows us to accurately assess bone quality and quantity which gives us the opportunity to very accurately plan treatment. 3D Imaging can reveal problems right away rather than later as is often the case with conventional x-rays. Once a 3D Imaging scan is done, it is automatically transferred to a computer for instantaneous viewing.
